Our investment philosophy

We believe that portfolio construction is as much art as science and that no one strategy or process is ever perfect or even exists. We will work with you to construct an investment portfolio with the target of meeting your financial planning objectives, whilst remaining within your tolerances to risk. We endeavour to do this whilst minimising costs and maximising returns.

Our investment process follows four stages:

  1. Aim
  2. Asset Allocation
  3. Diversification.
  4. Review

Aim

The aim of the portfolio is vital. Using your financial objectives and goals as a benchmark we can advise on the return needed and determine the level of risk (if any) you need to take to achieve them.

Asset Allocation

Devise an asset allocation overlay between growth and defensive assets.

Diversification

We choose investment strategies which aim to spread risk by investing across as many different asset classes as possible, such as equities, corporate bonds, government bonds, cash, property, etc.

Review

As life changes so should your investments. Our ongoing review service enables us to monitor your portfolio and ensure that you remain on track.

Our pricing structure

We operate a flexible fee based remuneration structure. We will discuss our remuneration structure and agree engagement terms with you before proceeding with any work. Our pricing structure is available on request.
